Forum Migration on the 7th of June

We would like to notify users that on 7th June 2025 the Kinesis forum will be migrating to a new, secure environment accessible via the Kinesis platform.

Most users will not need to take any action ahead of the migration. However, users with a different email address on their Kinesis forum and Kinesis platform accounts will need to submit their forum username, email address, and HIN number via email to forum@kinesis.money by 7th of June in order to transfer their account history, including username, comments, and replies.

To keep conversations fruitful, constructive and secure, the new forum environment will only allow fully verified Kinesis users to comment and post in discussions, while users who are not ID-verified will have read-only access.

If, for any reason, you are unable to submit your details before the migration, our support team will need to recover your forum details manually. Please note that suspended accounts will not be migrated.

If you have any questions or queries ahead of the migration, please contact our support team.

It's not possible to send an email to forum@kinesis.money it bounces back with the message:
We're writing to let you know that the group you tried to contact (forum) may not exist, or you may not have permission to post messages to the group. A few more details on why you weren't able to post:

This policy means that people will lose forum posting access any time they deposit any amount of cash into their kinesis account, move/get a new ID, or make a large withdrawal of funds/spend a large amount of money on kinesis, which are also coincidentally the times in which people would probably need assistance from the forums the most. This seems like a suspiciously convenient way to silence the most unhappy portion of your customer base during the times in which they need help/assistance the most.

My understanding is that if you can log into the KMS you will have access to the forum, even if your ability to withdraw or trade is limited.

We'll see next week, though.
