End of quarter update

Dear Kinesis community,

Ahead of the new quarter, we wish to take the opportunity to ensure that our valued community is abreast of our upcoming launch timeline.

As we move towards a technically superior KVT (which will also offer enhanced tokenomics), we will be working with the relevant regulator to bring this exciting upgrade to life. The regulatory pathway will, however, take us longer than expected to traverse. As such, we are hopeful to deliver the evolution before the holiday season.

Kinesis Pro is fully developed. Central to the value proposition of Kinesis Pro is the listing of a new Kinesis native token. This token will come into existence, largely as a result of a significant corporate confluence, which is nearing close. We look forward to sharing the details regarding these exciting developments in due course and before the end of Q4.

We are confident the Kinesis community will share in our enthusiasm, and we look forward to you all engaging with these key innovations of the Kinesis Monetary System.

Thank you,

The Kinesis team

My fee pool dial is not real time. It might change once a day, I dunno.

If you review the different sources of contribution to the fee pool, then there are several that it would make sense to have batched up and not done real time.
My base position as noted at the bottom of this post is that it's once daily.

In reality, I think at least some elements are more frequent than that.
Given that the yield payments are processed during the first week after the end of the month, it doesn't really matter, as any batched contributions will have been collected into the pool by that point.

Occasionally, I think it goes backwards.
Focus on the KAU and KAG numbers rather than the USD equivalent.
If the pool of KAU and KAG is relatively stable and there is a % drop in the USD prices of KAU and KAG, then you will see much of that drop reflected in a drop in the USD value of the fee pool.

Thanks for the further info Uchiki. My subtle point was it's kind of anemic.
I notice they are actively rolling out changes to the UI. I was utilizing a selection on the Home to either show Total Balance, or Available balance. That's gone now. Replaced by an Allocation icon/button.
So, I believe KAU & KAG totals now are a mix. Total K&K, and available value in USD. It may have been that way before the allocation change. I don't recollect tallying the USD totals.
But I was using the Total/Avail. selection. oh well...

Functionality seems the same for me as when it was introduced, as described at the timestamp in the New Dashboard announcement video:

Yes, while the overall Account USD value does change between Total and Available, there is an issue with the USD values of KAU and KAG, which do not change.
This has been logged.

You're correct Uchiki. Thanks for the review & your help.
My mistake. I hadn't noticed the Allocation image previously, and my clicks to toggle the mode weren't working. For some reason I didn't see the click areas being highlighted as I moved over them. I was likely clicking outside of the bounds. I recollect being surprised by the privacy eyeball too. yeesh...

Several days into December and only 2 quarterlies for 2024. Hmmmm!? We might need to have 2 quarterlies in one?
Jokes aside, Kinesis should have fixed dates to publish each of the 4 reports. If there’s a big announcement days after the date, so be it and publish reports on time anyway and separate announcements on their days.
It’s not like we’re a huge audience and most of us be happy with any scraps of information. Data about MetalBack. Beta testing progress. A couple of more items would be fine with me. It doesn’t have to be Tolstoy’s War and Peace.

A while ago it was 'Damned if we do, damned if we don't.' Whether any audit, or 3 or 6-monthly.

To my knowledge no other company globally produces quarterly audits, much less audits of physical metals reconciled against their digital twins, snuffling silently on the blockchain.

Pro. VDC. Then we're cooking on gas.
